Weekly Photo challenge: Split second (1)

In the height of winter there is nothing better than snuggling up in front of a blazing fireplace with every split second presenting a new and beautiful formation of flames. An ever changing picture which appears to be alive before your eyes, warms the soul and appeasing to the mind.

The Blue Crane (Anthropoides paradiseus), also known as the Stanley Crane and the Paradise Crane, is the national bird of South Africa.

100 Happy Days: Day 24

Baba appears to be mesmerised by this tiny ball of fluff 😊 Here’s to hoping the transition is a smooth one…

An Ordinary Morning: 100 happy days- Day 23

This morning was like every other Saturday morning. The normal routine of nappy changes, breakfast and swimming lessons. But once the rush calmed down we got to experience some magical moments outside in our evergreen garden.

It was fresh… It was tranquil… It was oh so heavenly…

Our garden was once again full of birds chirping, baba giggling and the hustle and bustle of the cat and dogs as they delightfully entertained the little tot! It was heaven on earth!!!
